It’s easy for your guests to reach, packed with places to explore, and offers every kind of setting you could want for your day. With surreal locations such as the grand museum, rustic woodlands, or right by the harbour, with the water glinting in the background. Cliftons Georgian streets bring elegance, while the harbourside gives a modern, creative edge. my recommended Bristol wedding suppliers

Planning a wedding can feel like juggling a hundred details at once. Finding the right suppliers takes time, research, and a fair bit of patience. To make things simpler, I’ve gathered a few trusted Bristol wedding suppliers who I highly recommend. From dress boutiques to florists, cake makers and tattoo artists, these local experts will help take the stress out of planning so you can focus on enjoying the build-up to your day.

Here I have linked Izzy, founder and lead floral designer at Seed and Stem, started her business in 2020, combining her passion for British-grown flowers with a focus on timeless, elegant design.

Below is a link to a Bristol cake maker, Anna, who has spent over a decade perfecting her craft and creating elegant wedding cakes designed to make your day feel truly special.

A second photographer helps capture both partners’ morning preparations and provides a fresh perspective on key moments throughout the day. I personally choose second shooters whose approach and standard of work align with my own, and all final images are edited in my signature style for a consistent finish.

I’ve teamed up with my sister, a skilled tattoo artist, to offer wedding tattoos for couples and guests. You can find more details on pricing and how to enquire below.

Alongside my work as a Bristol wedding photographer, I also create fine art wedding albums. I handle all the design details for you and can provide additional copies for family members. You can find more details on pricing and any inquires below

How I Photograph Weddings in Bristol

Getting married in Bristol means your day will be full of life, colour and emotion. My role is to capture all of that without taking you away from the moment.

You’ll hardly notice the camera, but you’ll end up with images that feel real and full of personality. I’ll plan ahead, finding the best light and locations around your venue so everything runs smoothly. On the day, I quietly fit in with your plans, letting events unfold naturally while keeping an eye out for those genuine moments between you and your guests.

Bristol’s light can shift quickly, from soft cloud to golden sun, and I know how to use that to your advantage. The result is a relaxed experience for you, and photographs that feel effortless, natural and true to your day.

Testimonials from bristol couples

We couldn't recommend Charlotte highly enough and all our family have said how amazing the photos came out and how natural they all are!
The speed in which we got our sneak peeks back was amazing as I was so eager to post them and share our special day with family members who couldn't make it and the online gallery is great being able to download them all and then select which ones you want to print.

Emily Holbrook wedding in March 2025

We had the most wonderful experience of having Charlotte capture our day. She went above and beyond, and even waded into a stream to get the best shots! She was so friendly and approachable throughout the whole wedding and clearly really enjoyed the work she was doing. We would highly recommend Charlotte to anyone that needs a photographer

Louise Cullen Wedding 2024

Charlotte went above and beyond to make sure we had the most relaxed and enjoyable time for our wedding photoshoot with lots of natural laughs and smiles, the pictures turned out better than we ever could’ve imagined and Charlotte shared some sneak peaks with us before finishing our gallery so we could see them as soon as possible. We would highly recommend Charlotte Sam’s Photography to anyone wanting to feel relaxed and comfortable whilst having high quality photos taken to treasure forever.

FAQs FOR Wedding photography Bristol

How far in advance should we book a wedding photographer in Bristol?

Are you insured?

Can we request that you don’t use our photos online or on social media?

How much does a Bristol wedding photographer cost?

Good question, The most popular wedding months in Bristol are from spring through to autumn, i would recommend booking up 9–12 months ahead. I recommend you reach out as soon as your venue and date are confirmed. If you leave it later there may be fewer choices for timeslots and you may have to compromise on hours or inclusions.

Yes I am insured, if the venue requests my insurance you can contact me and I will send it to them

Yes. If you prefer none or only some images to appear publicly-online, we’ll note this in the contract and respect your wishes.

Prices vary depending on hours of coverage, number of images, travel and any extras added. As a rough guide, full-day coverage in Bristol region often falls into a mid-to-high range. Linked here I have a full price breakdown and multiple options for different budgets and including any extras. Here
