ABOUT CHARLOTTE

Hi, I'm Charlotte, the lead photographer at Charlotte Sams Photography.

I know how vulnerable it can feel to be in front of the camera. That’s why I’m here, to help you feel comfortable, confident, and completely at ease, so you can truly relax and enjoy every moment of your wedding day just as you deserve.

I am driven by the real, emotional and honest candid moments, but I'll also take extra care to ensure you also have beautiful timeless images to last a lifetime.

My process is very person centred; I want to understand my couple's vision, and them to feel comfortable around me. I will be on hand during your planning process to anser questions or help guide you with any advice around photography and your day.

On the day, I will slot in easily with your friends and family. I will work to ensure the thoughtful details are all captured, alongside the little unscripted moments of joy and emotion.

During your couple's photos, I may offer gentle prompts, but no heavy posing. I will guide you with natural positions to ensure beautiful and timeless portraits.

My job is to preserve the moments that make your wedding day, yours.

When we had a small mishap with other staff, she even went the extra mile and helped organise guests to go up for their food — something she absolutely didn’t have to do, but it just shows the kind of person she is.

We received our photos by the end of October (I think) it felt quite quick anyway, and we are absolutely in love with them. They’re bright, beautifully coloured, clear, and so natural. She captured everyone perfectly and managed to bottle up all the emotion and joy of the day.
