A Midsummer Wedding in Somerset;The old Milking Parlour at Cavokay House

Katie & Caleb had a beautiful midsummers wedding. Their day was relaxed and full of love, heavily featuring their beautiful little dog Atlas too! Their day started with getting ready in the family houses, onto the gorgeous local church for their ceremony. Their reception was at The Old Milking Parlour at Cavokay House, which is ideal for those wanting a focus on outdoor space at it has large grounds with woodland and fields, perfect for quiet couples moments and photos later.

This sweet couple were so beautiful together. I remember asking both of them what their favourite moment of the day was, and both said it was when they first saw eachother when Katie walked down the aisle, I love that so much.


I always love when animals are featured at weddings, and best boy Atlas added something really special to this day, his energy and excitement was so lovely to photograph, and we absolutely loved having him feature in the couples photos too.




We were lucky with the weather, the guests enjoyed the traditional garden games in the outside spaces and the large outdoor space makes the perfect backdrop for family photos and bouquet toss. The sun also managed to peak through the clouds to offer the opportunity for gorgeous golden hour photos. Katie's dress was absolutely stunning, flowing and dreamy in the soft light, and I couldn't resist some bridal portraits of her in the evening sun.
