During winter months, we wedding suppliers use the increased time from the quiet season to explore new concepts, collaborate and create beautiful work in styled shoots! I love these days; it's a lovely opportunity to meet other local suppliers and explore new ideas ready for upcoming wedding shoots.

This winter, our team of fab suppliers worked on a shoot at Goldney House/ The Orangery at Goldney House.

This venue is a fab location tucked away in the heart of Clifton, light and airy with a stunning outdoor space too. We mostly focused our shooting in the bright Orangery room. With table setups and cakes to simulate a real wedding environment, this light and spacious room still allowed plenty of opportunity for beautiful portraits and couples' photos.

We had two stunning dresses; one classic, floral and lace gown, which was utterly gorgeous, especially in the bright orangery space. The second modern dress was much more suited for easy movement and outside use, so we were able to shoot in different locations with this one. Daniel, our model, wore a navy suit that fit completely with the Bridgerton vibes that the pastel florals and classic look of the other suppliers created.

My focus as the photographer was to firstly capture content for all suppliers, then also to explore some editorial style of shooting, and lastly to test out a new 35mm camera I had recently bought.

These are my digital highlights:

And not forgetting some analogue photography/film photography shot on Fuji 35mm. This first image is one of my favourites; I adore these natural moments of couples interacting. The grain and the Fuji green colours look so beautiful. I don't tend to edit my film scans much, so these are mostly all as they have been processed. Sometimes it can help to edit the analogue images to match the digital scans, but for this camera testing shoot, it wasn't vital.
